We use the PII that we collect to deliver paid subscription content (such as processing paid subscriptions, or engaging in email correspondence), to analyze and improve this website, and to conduct marketing. If you register for email or if you provide your email address to us, we will add you to a mailing list and send you investing-related content and opinions.

We share email activity data with our marketing email provider to help them better target emails to our clients. While our marketing email provider has access to email address, email activity and bulk/non-specific activity data, no email addresses or specific email actions are ever shared with other third parties.

Should a client wish to opt out of this sharing, that client simply needs to opt out of marketing email from us. Geographic Location. Our App uses the GPS feature of your mobile device to determine the location of the device. We and our third-party vendors or partners may collect and use this geographic location data for purposes such as the functioning of the App, to make our advertising more relevant, and to improve this website.

We do not store geographic location data in combination with PII. If you do not want us to collect and use your device’s geographic location, you can control this function in your application settings by disabling location services for your device, or by uninstalling the App, but these choices will affect your ability to use the App.

A cookie is a small text file stored on a user’s hard drive. Cookies are required to use  our site. We also use cookies to assist with anonymous site traffic analysis, which includes tracking the time/date of visits, pages viewed, and referring URLs.

ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION AND SECURITY

If you purchase a paid subscription online, we require only the information needed to complete the processing of your orders and billing. In order to bill your order we share users’ personal information with outside card processing companies, but we do not provide any more information than necessary for these purposes. We may also use the information to contact you regarding your order.

OUR SITE SECURITY

We use appropriate security safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. Any personal information you provide to this website in connection with a product order is exchanged on a secure server. We use one of today’s most advanced security systems, the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, to encrypt, or encode, information you send to us in the order process.
